FOR THE CHURCH AT COUTANCES From the Main Road through Coutances. At the main traffic lights on the boulivard Alsace Lorraine (D972), take the road for Lessay (D2 Rue de l'ecluse Chette, this becomes the Rue d'Ikley), Keep to this road and The Lycee & College St Germain is on your left with red railings and a set of traffic lights at a pedestrian crossing and just before going under the bridge of the by-pass. Turn left into the school yard at the crossing and park. The chapel is in the basement of the large building on the left. Signs are usually displayed on the roadside and outside the main entrance to the chapel. (rue d' Ilkley is a new name and may not come up on a GPS system. The old name is rue de L'Ecluse-Chette).

From the BY PASS Leave the by-pass at the exit to Lessay/Cherbourg (D2), then turn left or right right (depending on the direction you are comming from) towards Coutances and proceed a few metres down the hill until you see a set of traffic lights at a pedestrian crossing ahead.
Turn right into the school yard at the crossing and park. The chapel is in the basement of the large building on the left. Signs are usually displayed on the roadside and outside the main entrance to the chapel.

FOR THE CHURCH IN VEZINS Vezins between Saint Hilaire-du-Harcouet and Ducey. Coming from Saint Hilaire on the road to Ducey, the sign post for Vesins village is on the left and from Ducey it is on the right. Follow the road around till you see a Church in the distance on the left. This is Vezins. Turn left and then right into the Village. |
